As I write this on Labor Day weekend, it’s hard to believe that summer’s has nearly flown by. But as usual, the fall season brings the crowds back and the entertainment choices heat up. Here are some of my favorite PMD Promotion Clients either appearing now or opening soon.
OLD SCHOOL MEDIA. MEET NEW SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY
It’s hard to imagine a more cutting-edge technology company than Apple Computer, its software and hardware has revolutionized a generation. Likewise, it would be hard to imagine a more low-tech, and revolution-causing, advertising medium like nailing a poster to the church door (think Martin Luther in 1517).
SPIDERMAN, OPEN AT LAST
I had just seen “Spider-Man, Turn off the Dark” on the Thursday before it officially was to open, at an exclusive invitation-only event thrown by Interscope Records. Pretty neat seeing Bono talk to the crowd of 100 people in the lobby of the Foxwoods Theater before showtime.
