Founded in 1981 by 6 men determined to take on the disease then known as the gay men’s health crisis, GMHC is now the world’s most progressive and active provider of HIV/AIDS awareness, care, and advocacy. In saying that, I’m very pleased to announce that PMD will be an official media sponsor for GMHC’s “Fashion Forward” event on November 8th, hosted by Tim Gunn.
Fashion Forward is an annual event aimed at bringing NYC together in awareness, remembrance of those in the fashion world lost to this disease, and celebration of bold and innovative new fashion. Past showcased designers have included Perry Ellis, Rag & Bone, and John Varvatos, amongst others.
The show starts at 9pm with a cocktail reception at 7pm.
