HOLIDAY TIME? THE NUTCRACKERS ARE BACK!

This year, PMD is happy to be involved with three productions of the classic, whimsical tale of “The Nutcracker.” Every holiday season, the familiar story of a little girl who dreams of the Nutcracker Prince delights children of all ages.  Many productions of this holiday classic are performed all over the country, often bringing in the largest ballet audiences all season.

Join The Washington Ballet as they celebrate the golden anniversary of the holiday classic, “The Nutcracker.”  In this 50th Anniversary year performance, dancers will pay homage to The Washington Ballet founder Mary Day in Septime Webre’s lush Washington-themed staging featuring George Washington as the company’s patriotic Nutcracker.  Generations of Washingtonians have grown up loving and sharing with their loved ones this annual performance.
