Year WNDW Entered Washington DC

For those who do not live in our nation’s capital, there is a sense that politics dominate everything in the city. In Washington DC, there is plenty of rich culture. The Smithsonian and the National Geographic Museum have enlisted WNDW for their OOH advertising campaigns. In classical arts, the Kennedy Center with its concert hall, opera house and theater, presents theater, dance, The National Symphony Orchestra, The Washington National Opera and various chamber and chorale groups.  For many years WNDW has worked with the Kennedy Center, Fords Theater, The Lisner Auditorium, Shakespeare Theater Company, making sure their campaigns will Be Seen with our WindowPoster™ Displays in independent storefronts. Our national network of venues makes it possible to focus Hyper-Local OOH advertising on target audiences in favorite neighborhoods like Adams Morgan, Capitol Hill and Foggy Bottom.

The District, as locals call it, is relatively compact with unique neighborhoods that one can explore easily by foot, bike, cab or Metro. Restoration of the U Street corridor, with restaurants, shops and live-entertainment venture, has spurred improvements in the nearby Shaw neighborhood, with its lively bars and restaurants. Neighboring Adams Morgan blends clubs, restaurants and exotic shops with new apartment complexes. Dupont Circle’s cosmopolitan outdoor dining, shops and Victorian architecture make it popular with the happy hour crowd, as is nearby Georgetown, famous for its upscale shops, nightclubs and fine dining.
