When the Tony Award winning performance of Swan Lake was returning to the stage, New York City Center used PMD Windowposters™ to promote the event. The posters included a mobile tag that when scanned, linked smartphone users to a 3 minute preview of the dazzling performance. New York City Center, a titan in performance art in New York City, needed to generate an audience quickly for the 4 week run of Swan Lake and turned to PMD’s experience and expertise for the task.

The poster itself is thrilling. A group of dancers is captured mid-flight; the leader leaping towards the viewer creating an interactive feeling. This feeling is multiplied when the viewer scans the tag and is presented with the video preview of the performance. This feature was an ideal use of mobile tagging technology and PMD was thrilled to combine a classic art form with the latest advertising technology.
