PMD is proud to be working with rock & roll royalty this Fall: one British, one American.
On September 24th, Elton John will release his 31st studio album, The Diving Board. Written with his long time collaborator Bernie Taupin, and produced by the award-winning T Bone Burnett, The Diving Boardfinds Sir Elton returning to the piano sound that made him famous. Written in two sessions, the first of which produced 11 songs written and recorded in four days, this album finds John doing what he does best: jazz, gospel and country sounds mixed in with his signature pop.
PMD is excited to be working on a Windowposter™ campaign for The Diving Board, in the major markets of New York, LA, Chicago and San Francisco.
Like Elton John, Janis Joplin started her music career in the 1960’s. Bursting onto the international music scene with her unmistakable voice, Joplin became the must-see headliner at music festivals across America. Tragically, Joplin’s life ended at the young age of 27, in a West Hollywood hotel. A Night with Janis Joplin brings the remarkable singer back to life, on the stage, and introduces her to a whole new generation of music (and theater) lovers. Singing hits such as “Me and Bobby McGee”, “Crybaby” and “Piece of My Heart”, breakout star Mary Bridget Davies brings the energy and electricity of Joplin to life. A Night with Janis Joplin will begin preview performances on September 20th at Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre.
PMD is displaying Windowposters™ all across New York City for this special production.
