Boxing is back.
People aren’t talking about the head-smashing, brain-scrambling NFL, or the mixed martial arts cage matches of the UFC. Not now. Boxing is it.
With the earth-shaking announcement of perhaps the most anticipated boxing match in history, Floyd Mayweather & Manny Pacquiao shined a bright light squarely back on the sport. Mayweather and Pacquiao will be toe to toe on May 2nd in glitzy Las Vegas.
But these guys are the lightweights, literally, compared with the two fighters set to meet this Saturday night in The World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, in the heart of New York City.

Klitschko vs. Jennings.
In what promises to be an epic heavyweight battle, Wladimir Klitschko, from Ukraine, will battle the top ranked American contender, Bryant Jennings, of Philadelphia PA.
Klitschko has a long history with heavyweight boxing. His career spans almost 20 years, he has dominated the heavyweights with a 63-3 record, including 54 by knockout, and 17 successful championship defenses.
Bryant Jennings started boxing at the relatively late age of 24 in Philadelphia, not far from where the fictional Rocky Balboa jogged through the streets. His record is an impressive 19-0, with 10 knockouts.
Klitschko is currently the second longest reigning Heavyweight Champion in modern history. Not bad for a guy who speaks four languages fluently, and has a doctorate in sports science.
Entering the professional arena in 2012, Jennings has been been making a name for himself, by defeating heavily favored opponents. The 30 year old American will be the underdog in this fight, but he may just be the American-born heavyweight hero the sport lacks.
