The Obama Portraits

The Brooklyn Museum Looks to WNDW & Hyper-Local OOH

From the moment of their unveiling at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in February 2018, the official portraits of President Barack Obama and Mrs. Michelle Obama have become iconic. Kehinde Wiley and Amy Sherald’s master works have inspired unprecedented responses from the public.

The five city tour made its stop at the Brooklyn Museum in June of 2021.

WNDW, working closely with the Museum marketing team, planned an initiative of hundreds of WindowPoster™ Displays to be seen in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods, with over 85-90% coverage.

The show was a smashing success, having been attended by an audience of more than 49,000 people, including a daily average of over 1,100 guests.
