Company start-up stories abound. We’ve all heard the tales of people huddled in their garages with great ideas and no money. The story of PMD begins in an NYU dorm room, where a group of second year students are working to get music artists SEEN around New York City.

First Artist: The Grateful Dead.
First Venue: Madison Square Garden.
First Payment: tickets to the show, of course.

1991: George Bush was president, Terminator 2 was the #1 film at the box office, Phantom of the Opera was the current Broadway hit. NYU was less than $25,000. a year to attend … imagine?
